Today I ventured over to central park to check out "the gates". I figured what better day to do it then today because the weather was beautiful, a cool 56 degrees or so. I will just say everyone and there mom was walking around central park, super packed for a warm winters day. As I walked around, I listened to some music and watched the nannies pushing there children, old people holding hands and tourists enjoying this. I was skeptical of the money wasted on this project. I was thinking it could be used for helping out tsunami victims for instance. But maybe for 2 weeks nyc will be a little less cold from this. It was a good experience and I managed to get a swatch of the fabric they used. I was talking to a security worker who had to take one day because someone vandalized it and they cut it up. I took pictures but I don't know how to link those kinda things. So go for yourself and see. |

I am so pissed I am fuckin dying with a flu like cold these past few days and now its my birthday and I will be at home watching movies instead of drinking myself into a coma. In other news, we had the first big snow of the year last weekend 18 inches at my parents house, where I was because I decided to go there instead of being holed up in my apt. I had fun shoveling my long ass driveway and feeling super outta shape. ha Best thing about being at my parents all the food I can eat and real cooked meals. I need to get outta my winter breakdown and start doing shit. Go outside more even if it is 8 below zero. Be more social is key for the upcoming year. Have more dependable people surrounding me but thats hard in a flake fulled nyc populace. Stop being lazy. More adventures! |

The dirt dog (ODB) died yesterday. The court jester of the Wu-Tang Clan is gone and it really is shitty timing. Just when you think the Wu would come back from the grave and reclaim hip hop the dreams are thrown out the window. Even though the Wu fucked him over while he was in jail and released two shitty lps in his absence, they recounciled and were back. I just hope they do some kinda show for him. Raise money for his 14 or whatever kids ha. My favorite odb moment was when he pulled up to the welfare office in a limo to pick up his check.

Ah what a shitty day this has been. The day after the election and my hopes are dashed. A chance for a different direction wasn't favored by the majority of Americans sadly. I will never lose hope in America even if the people who run it are people with far different beliefs then I have for myself. I figured Kerry didn't have a chance cause it seems like lately good ol' boys from the South are winning the White House. I just hate how people who are pissed off are writing off the country. Sure Bush is in for another 4 years but at least we have the future from there. Maybe Americans will finally realize what shit he will and has put us through by then. To all the lameasses who are saying they are leaving the country, less talk and more action from you and go and do it. |

last night pete almost got in a fight, was kicked outta happy endings and says he doesnt remember why,
screamed at the bouncer who tossed him out, telling him the reason he was kicked out was because he was white and had to fight off a bunch of bitches

Man these last few nights have been too fucking crazy. Running into people I haven't seen in a while and really glad to see (sona being one of them). Going to random house parties and seeing among things, a swing in a apt. and a kid almost hitting his head on the 15 ft high ceiling while swinging on it, totally glad not following my friends to one party where a naked man had a plush teddy bear strapped to his crotch and answering the door and hearing all about it when they ran back to the original party. Having intellectual conversations with brandon. Then the total debauchery that happened at laurens at the wee hours of the morning. There were other things but those stuck out most in the weekend. Waking up without a hangover was rad. Tomorrow first mid-terms dun dun fucking shitty. |

- Starting to go out again and get outta my hermit mood.

- Finally getting word from school.

I decided to dust off this dank journal once again, hopefully for the last time. The past couple weeks have had me thinking a lot about where I wanna go with my life and sadly I really don't know. I need to get away for a while and think, any suggestions?
The only real joys I have gotten lately has been seeing my new nephew and spending time with him. I was never a huge fan of babies until he came along now I look forward to seeing him and taking care of him.
I always seem to fall for the wrong type of girls, that are bad for me and I should know better then to keep falling for them. Then I end up losing the ones who are good. Life's a confusing ride. |

The weekend was good and it always seems to go by too quick. I went and saw mooney suzuki saturday night at tiswas, the band was good but the crowd was super lame and I will never set foot in there again ha. At least I had adam with me or I would have killed myself. Jimmy fallon was next to me rocking out and hanging out with his super hot girl what a tool he is, I thought gideon yago was bad. I was with adam and pieces on friday we drank 40's and went on the roof and looked over the manhattan skyline. It was fun until we all froze our asses off, we later headed over to some bar, drank and danced and I saw some disturbing shit ha. |

The last week has been very good and I cant complain. Had an amazing valentines with a cool girl and a great weekend. Then sunday I went to motherfucker even though it was blizzard conditions and danced it up with my friends and then went outside afterwords and played around in the snow. It was nice to meet nicole who came up from atlanta and stayed with lauren. Monday I vegged cause of the bar being closed and about 20 inches of snow outside. I did get to watch the finale of joe millionaire and watched the dude pick the right girl even though I bet shes as fun to be with as a sack of dead fish. Skip tuesday. Enter Wednesday, went to some dive bar with adam and got free drinks from the bartender and almost caught a knife fight with some crazy polish girl and some girls who she thought beat her up the week before. Then we headed over to odessa and the place was fucking dead as shit so we left and went to ack cough cough some dance night ha and I was pretty drunk by the time I got there. The place was a ghost town cause of the stupid ladytron show going on at the same time but I didnt mind. I was gay dancing it up with adam to that lame 80's song my obsession and adam said some scene girl saw me and she was in a state of shock as I grinded on him. bahaha.
Thursday night I went to odessa's and drank it up with my roomate ari and pieces. On the way home pieces fell on his ass and I felt sorry for him and next thing you know ari is saying watch out guys dont bust your ass and bam she goes up 5 feet in the air and falls down straight on her ass hahah.
One last note the weather has been amazing here in the city the last two days but thats going to change tomorrow with 50 inches of rain expected. damn. |
